Definitely a dive type of place. I had a bacon cheese burger with chili cheese fries. The burger was super delicious. I'm a sucker for chili cheese fries but wasn't to impressed but mind you still flavorful. If the chili had less beens I would have been extra stoked. Still definitely a great find and fresh.

The cook was amazing. Had come back from a break early to start cooking again. We thought food was decent overall but they were short handed and the place got busy quick. Wouldn't really recommend for bigger groups but would be great spot for a date night or spot for drinks and appetizers. We ate downstairs because it was so hot/air conditioning wasn't working.

What an environment to enjoy a burger / wings / beer! Friendly faces in front and behind the bar, cheap prices and everywhere you look there is something interesting to study. 10/10 recommend.

How could anybody not love Fanny Ann's. This is such a nostalgia place and has been here since the 70s. I remember coming here as a kid with my parents to eat burgers. The ambience alone is one of a kind. Located in the heart of old Sacramento. This is not a place that you'd wanna miss.

I have been coming to Fanny Ann's for over 20 years. In my younger days, my girlfriend's and I would come on Friday nights and drink and dance our little hearts out. I have fond memories of the bartender lining up BJ shots for us on the bar and us all clasping our hands behind our backs and having a go! I remember dates here scarfing down bar food in the booths in the basement and playing arcade games on the upper levels. Now, as a more mature wife and mother, it's a place where I can stop in and have a drink with friends and we can stroll down memory lane (that is if we can hear each other talk over the music!) This bar can be loud and squished and feel grimy but if you suspend judgement and give in to the atmosphere, you will most likely have a great time here.

Fanny Ann's is a fun dive bar located in the heart of Old Sacramento. It's been around a very long time and they're well known for their chicken wings. The bar isn't huge but they have plenty of options for everyone at their disposal. There's an upstairs which holds the restrooms and video games like pinball and older arcade games. Hanging out here is fun, it's always a fun option to hit before Kings games. It's right next to the tunnel which leads to the arena. So before a Kings game or any event at Golden 1 center drop in and check it out.

Some of the FUNNIEST bartenders in Sac! The bartenders had me and my friends cracking up, which just added to the personality of the bar to have lively bartenders. One bartender recommended the garlic fries and OMG they were amazing! Highly recommend!! This place is awesome and has many levels which is super cool because each level has a slightly different vibe. This is a great bar in the Old Sac area.

Whole wing wings. Juicy non breaded with buffalo sauce. I loved them. What a find. Friend had a fantastic burger. The wings are a small meal.

After walking around all day and having fun in Old Sacramento this was our last stop of the night .It was a Thursday night so glad they are open late . My friend and I were surprised how huge this place was !It has so many levels of floors . I believe it's 4 floors ? It's like a museum in there !! So many things to look at . One of the upstairs has a-lot of vintage arcade games and more seating tables . This place was cool lol . It's your typical bar noting fancy the staff was nice and attentive. We asked if we can order food the guy at the bar said kitchen was supposed to close already but that he would check if the cook was still cooking . He said yes to go ordered our food . Mack the chef (cook) was super nice we ordered our food with him . We where so thankful that he cooked for us instead of closing the kitchen early. Thanks !! That was great customer service .We took the food to go I got a burger and my friend got the grilled cheese with fries . For drinks there is no fancy drink menu . I let the bartender know I like Gin he said sweet or tart I said tart he made me a yummy Gin drink .The food and drinks are super affordable. My friend got a white claw . I really enjoyed all the decor and exploring the place . I definitely recommend checking this place out when in Old Sacramento very interesting and fun place .
